Why We Built This Site
Public access is useful only when a request reaches the correct custodian. Sullivan's Circuit Court Clerk handles Circuit, Criminal/Law, General Sessions, and Juvenile functions, while the Clerk and Master holds Chancery and probate records. City clerks retain municipal dockets. We assembled the official search links, contact points, request methods, and local case terminology that help readers navigate that split.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Sullivan County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, independent of every Tennessee court, clerk, and government agency. Its role has firm limits:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
An official or certified court record must come from the clerk or court that maintains the original file. This site can identify that office but cannot issue the document.
Search Partners
Third-party providers operate the search boxes found on some pages. They control their results, terms, and prices. A paid signup may produce a referral fee that supports site operation, but this site neither sets the charge nor guarantees the information returned.
